Guards have been dirty recently and have been starting to take bribes from inmates, here's how it works:
There are two types of interactions with the guard:
- Negotiating
- Bribing
Guard negotiating
- After you die to a guard, you are able to talk with them
- After you die, you only have 10 minutes to negotiate!
- Negotiating with the guard costs money
- If you are able to successfully negotiate with the guard, you can receive your lost gear back!
Guard Bribing
- You must be Prestige IV to bribe guards
- Bribing guards costs money
- You can only bribe one guard at a time
- Bribed guards will not tax your XP
- Bribed guards will collect XP taxed from other players for you to collect later
- Bribed guards will not ignore villain players
